Disabled MP calls on Starmer to tackle blue badge theft

Labour MP Liam Conlon has called on Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer to address the significant rise in Blue Badge thefts, which have more than quadrupled over the past decade.

Recent data indicates a substantial increase in thefts, with over 36,000 badges reported stolen in London between January 2015 and November 2024. Haringey experienced the highest number of incidents, with more than 6,000 badges stolen during this period.
