Buckinghamshire Council Blue Badge amnesty launched

Buckinghamshire Council has launched a Blue Badge amnesty during International Fraud Awareness Week, running from November 18 to 23. Residents are encouraged to return unused or no longer needed Blue Badges to help prevent misuse. Badges can be dropped off at council offices in Aylesbury and High Wycombe or mailed to the council’s address. Misuse of Blue Badges is considered fraud and can result in fines up to £1,000. The council’s fraud team also investigates other fraudulent activities, including housing application cheating, council tax scams, and cybercrime
